Newly Owned by Weimaraners These are some of the new owners of pups from this Spring 1999 litter. First we have Princess Buttercup, who owns Katie and Tyler from Washington.
They sure look happy with that silver firecracker of a pup. She is nothing if not very active and very loving. Next is Cisco who is the new owner of Cris and Allison. He is going to have some dispute over that because Cris and Allison are already owned by "Lady". (See Lady's picture below) Cisco is an amazingly silver, and smart as they come.
This is Chris and Allison's sweetheart, Lady and companion of Cisco. As you can see, because she is not allowed on the incredibly rare and beautiful Persian rug, she stays on the mat. (At least some small part of her does sometime) See Weimaraner Rules under "Interests" It is very clear that Cris, Allison and Lady are going to be driven crazy by their two beautiful and active Weimaraners. I am sure Cisco will follow the tradition and he will not be on the Persian rug either, just like Lady isn't!? This message came in this morning:
Hi Don, Anne, Ben & Erica,
We have been too-o-o-o busy to write you. Cisco is such
an adorable little fellow but boy is he a handful. Up until now he could walk
right through the garden gate but today he got stuck and Cris had to do a
delivery on him. He swims the full length of the pool and goes straight to the
steps, gets out, shakes himself off and goes on his way. He obeys commands
such as "sit" "stay" and "come". We are now
trying to train him to walk on a leash. He balks sometimes and just sits down.
We took him to the vet and had him microchiped as we also did for Lady.
After two weeks of "hell week" Lady has finally
accepted Cisco. They sleep together ( I think ) in the dog house. Lady shares
he big beds with him but would still rather he would not be there. When we go
in the car, Lady takes the seat and Cisco fits underneath for now anyway. (
that is real togetherness ).
These dogs are a real joy and a great addition to our lives.
Thanks for being a part of that.
Take care, Cris & Allison
Honestly, that looks like a silk cushion on top of the Persian rug! I knew I should have gone home with them instead of the pup! Our next group owned by a pup is Dave, he is a Captain in the Los Angeles Fire Department. No, he is NOT going to paint spots on his pup, Atlas, and call him a Dalmatian! That fine young man holding the pup is his son, Blake. It is not that Dave is very short, it is just that Blake is 6' 7". They have a property with more than 2000 acres and a lake in the mountains...Weimar Heaven, you might say. That is one lucky pup to find such fine people to own. They sure look happy too.
The following are some photo album pictures of our last litter of puppies. Even if you do not need a puppy, they sure are awfully cute. Enjoy. He can hardly wait to chase that ball...but not right now, its nap time.
Ben and a pup. They're both pretty cute!
Kids and dogs...W.C. Field's Greatest Nightmare!
This picture brings to mind two questions. First; Why does this puppy have such big clodhoppers? and the Second, and perhaps more important; Why is the dog standing on the Jaguar?! A little Nap After a Tough Morning....
This is one of our favorite puppy pictures. She is about three weeks old and looks so innocent, when she is asleep that is.
This girl is peering out of the tall grass, waiting for an unsuspecting wolf, bear or lion to come walking along. Weimar puppies take themselves so seriously.
Puppies and the People They Own From Past Litters Hey, does Kevin look happy being newly owned by a Weimaraner, or what?? You can be sure this little dog is nearly 100 pounds by now!
And how about the tough Col. Nick.... he looks as gentle as a lamb with his new pup!! (Happy too) As 25 year Weimaraner owners they needed a new pup to drive them crazy! Some people just don't quit!!
Do Dustin and Val look like they have found a new friend? Is that puppy Silver or what?
This new Weimar owner drove down from Seal Beach to meet his new best friend. Who says money can't buy love and happiness? We hope she didn't ruin his beautiful BMW before they got home!
Pup, Now Dogs From Earlier Litters
This very alert guard dog is Heather. She is guarding Paul and Andrea's tent which has the food. Paul and Andrea take her everywhere and anywhere. They say she is the light of their life.
This is Otis. Otis owns Derek and Maryanne. He is the mascot for the grandson's Little League team. All of the family, grandchildren, neighbors and Little Leaguers adore him. He is king of all he surveys except for one small girl dog named Pheobe who is his boss. Of any of Vito's pups, Otis is the one most like the great one.
These two are really something. It was love at first bite!
